Apple Cider Waffles

With the warm tastes of apple cider and spices, these Apple Cider Waffles are a great fall breakfast treat. They're simple to make and taste great and are fluffy.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup grated apple about 1 medium apple

Instructions:

Mix the sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg with a whisk in a large bowl

Put the eggs in a different bowl and beat them

Then add the apple cider, melted butter, and vanilla extract

Combine well

Add the wet ingredients to the dry ones and mix them together just until they are mixed

Add the grated apple and mix it in

Follow the directions on the package to heat up your waffle iron and lightly grease it

Using the amount suggested for your waffle maker, pour the waffle batter onto the waffle iron that has already been heated

Put the lid back on and cook the waffles until they are crisp and golden brown

If you want to add something extra, like maple syrup, whipped cream, or extra grated apple, serve the Apple Cider Waffles warm

Have fun with your tasty apple cider waffles!
