- 1/2 cup of mini marshmallows
- 1/4 cup of crushed candy canes optional, for garnish
Instructions:
Press parchment paper into an 8 x 8-inch square baking pan, leaving a small overhang on the sides for easy removal afterward
Place the chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk in a bowl that is safe to use in the microwave
Cook, stirring, in 30-second bursts in the microwave until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is smooth
Add the vanilla extract, hot cocoa mix, and a small pinch of salt, and stir until thoroughly mixed
Make sure the mini marshmallows are evenly distributed throughout the mixture by folding them in
Evenly spread out the fudge mixture after pouring it into the baking pan that has been prepared
For a festive touch, top with crushed candy canes, if desired
The fudge should be chilled for at least two hours to solidify and set
When the fudge sets, remove it from the pan by using the overhanging parchment paper
Serve the fudge by cutting it into squares or rectangles
